Growing up in a small fishing community in northern Norway, Audun has a lifelong fascination with the Arctic’s rough nature and culture, both above and below the ocean’s surface.

Photography for him is about sharing his fascination of the Arctic coastline with the revelation of new and unusual perspectives.

Since he started photographing in 2009, his images have won several awards, including the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Portfolio Award, the Overall Award in the Nature’s Best Contest, Arctic Photographer of the Year, Nordic Nature Photographer of the Year and other firsts in several international competitions.

While he remains a part-time photographer, he works as a full-time biology professor at the University of Tromsø.

Greg Lecoeur is a multi-award winning underwater photographer that dedicates his life to the Oceans. His strong passion for photography and his fascination for marine biology push him to explore our planet from beneath the surface. As a witness of nature, this self-taught French native of Nice, a city found on the French Riviera, captures the inspiration of nature with his distinct style. By using the art of photography, he captures the emotion of the moment revealing the beauty and fragility of the marine environment and its inhabitants This ambitious explorer has been widely published and has collected many coveted awards. He shares his passion hoping to educate the public about how to preserve our Oceans.

His photographic art and commitment to nature has been recognized worldwide.

During 2016, he was recognised internationally at prestigious photographic events and his images were awarded and exhibited in four corners of the planet. In December 2016, National Geographic named him "Nature Photographer of the Year".

Greg is an ambassador for Nauticam and Aqualung brands who support him during his adventures.
